Indian gooseberry:

Fenugreek seeds:

Fenugreek seeds can regrow your hair as it contains hormones antecedents. It also contains proteins and nicotinic acid that promotes hair growth. Add 2tsp of fenugreek seeds + 4 tsp of yoghurt + 1 egg and apply the mixture. Try to keep the mixture your head for at least half an hour so you can get shiny hairs.

Onion juice:

Apart from the flavours it adds to your food onion also offers additional nutritional benefits to your hair. Its high sulfur content improves blood circulation, reduces inflammation and regenerates hair follicles. It also keeps germs, parasites and bacterial infections at bay. Chop one onion, squeeze it for the juice, apply it to your scalp, let it be for 15 mins and shampoo it. Use it twice a week. Be careful with the juice as it is harmful to your eyes.

Aloe vera:

With its alkalizing property it manipulates the hair’s pH levels to a desirable one thus promoting hair growth. Extract the content, wash your hair properly, massage it into your scalp and let it be for 15 mins and then wash it off with cold water.

Licorice roots:

It opens the pores on your scalp and has a soothing effect apart from helping you get rid of dry flakes. Take one tsp of it and add it to a cup of milk. Apply it to your scalp and keep it on overnight. Wash your hair in the morning and repeat the process twice a week. It stamps out dandruff and stimulates hair growth.

Chinese hibiscus:

It has a magical effect on your hair as it reduces split ends, eliminates dandruff, thickens the hair and prevents premature greying. Take 10 hibiscus flowers and boil it in two cups of coconut oil. After sieving applies it to the scalp twice a week and sees the miracle.

Beetroot:

Rich in carbohydrates, proteins, potassium, phosphorus, calcium, vitamin B and C it helps enhance the hair growth. It should be included in the diet. You can also boil it with henna and apply on the scalp several times a week to get faster effects.

Flaxseeds:

Affluent in omega 3 fatty acids they ll prevent hair fall and encourage its growth. Consume 1 tsp of grounded flaxseeds with a glass of water daily in the morning.

Coconut milk:

Grate coconut, add it to a pan of water and let it simmer and then strain it. Apply it to your scalp once it cools down and leaves it on for 20 mins before washing it off. With its plethora of protein and essential fats, it strengthens your hair and promotes hair growth.

Garlic:

Like an onion, it contains a high dose of sulfur. Crush a few cloves, add it to coconut oil, boil it, let it cool down, massage it into your scalp and leave it on for 30 mins before rinsing it off. Repeat it twice a week to reap its rewards of decreasing hair fall.

Henna:

Since ancient times, it has been an important instrument for hair colour and conditioning. Take about 250 ml of mustard oil, add henna leaves to it and boil it till the leaves get burnt. Filter it via a muslin cloth and store it in an airtight container. Massage regularly to avail its advantage.

Egg:

It is a rich source of iodine, sulfur, zinc, protein, and selenium all of which are hair promoting growth factors. Mix the white of an egg to a tablespoon of olive oil and apply it on your entire scalp. Leave it on for 30 mins and wash it off with a mild shampoo. They help you with different hair problems and prevent your hair from getting dry and brittle thus giving you beautiful luscious hair.

Green tea:

Boil the tea leaves containing sachets and allow the broth to cool down before infusing it to your scalp. It promotes hair growth through its antioxidant properties.

Potato:

Chop a potato, release its juice using a blender and mix it with a tsp of olive oil and honey. Put it on for 30 mins before washing off. It contains vitamin C, potassium and iron all essential for hair growth.

Lemon juice:

Squeeze the juice of 2-3 lemons into a bowl of warm water. Rinse your hair with the mixture and leave it on for 5 mins. Rich in vitamin C and an excellent astringent it does your hair and scalp a lot of good.

Coriander juice:

Grind a cup of freshly chopped coriander leaves and add 3-4 tsp of water. Apply the paste to your head and wash it off after 30 mins. It makes your hair soft and promotes its growth.

Curry leaves:

Boil curry leaves in your hair oil. Once it cools off to apply it to your scalp and rinse it off. Apply it twice a week to get benefits.

Honey + olive oil + cinnamon:

Create a paste using the honey, olive oil or cinnamon and apply it once a week. it acts as a strong hair fall remedy.

Neem:

Boil 10-12 leaves in a pot of water. Wait for the mixture to cool and rinse your hair with it. It ousts dandruff and has excellent antibacterial properties so that it keeps your scalp healthy. It also eliminates head lice and nits.
